Blue Whale game claims student life

Despit being banned in Uttar Pradesh , the game of death Blue Whale claimed the life of a standard VI student at Hamirpur district of Bundelkhand region. As per reports, ill-fated student Parth Singh (13) was found hanging from the ceiling in Mission compound area of Maudaha area of Hamirpur while his father’s mobile on which he was playing ‘Blue Whale Challenge’ was still running when his family noticed his body around 5 pm on Sunday. Vikram Singh’s only son Parth said in his last post that very soon he would cross the last level of the game. “My win is certain though I would not be alive to see it but still I want to win at any cost,” he further posted. Numbed with gried, the parents said that Parth was supposed to attend a friend’s birthday on Sunday evening but he did not go there and continued playing the game despite scolding from them. Ministers to sit at party office daily - In a bid to bridge gap between party and Government, the State Government under Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has decided to depute its ministers to addresses grievances at the Bharatiya Janata Party office. In this regard every day party workers, who had to struggle hard to get access into Minister office – in the Vidhan Sabha or Chief Minister office at the Secretariat, Government as declared the names of the ministers for six days of the week. They would sit in the party office for four hours i.e. 10 am to 2 pm on daily basis. The party high command has tried to balance between the hard core BJP ministers and newly joined BJP leaders. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal on Sunday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 14 different projects in district Palwal, costing about Rs 98.09 crore. The Chief Minister inaugurated four projects to the tune of about Rs 40.76 crore including GNM Training School and Nurses Hostel in Civil Hospital Palwal established at a cost of Rs nine crore, SC-ST Wing at Government Industrial Training Institute at Rs 3.50 crore, Government College for Women at Hathin at about Rs 12.72 crore, and Government Polytechnic at Mandkola built at a cost of about Rs 15.54 crore. US President signs bill imposing sanctions on Russia, Iran, N Korea

Under mounting domestic pressure, President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed into law a legislation that imposes tough sanctions against Russia, Iran and North Korea and limits his ability to lift the curbs unilaterally. "I favour tough measures to punish and deter bad behaviour by the rogue regimes in Tehran and Pyongyang. I also support making clear that America will not tolerate interference in our democratic process, and that we will side with our allies and friends against Russian subversion and destabilisation," Trump said in a statement after he signed the 'Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act'. The bill sanctions Russia — citing its cyber hacking as well as aggression in Ukraine and Syria — while also slapping new sanctions on North Korea and Iran.
