Hry CM lays stone of projects worth Rs 100 cr

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal on Sunday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 14 different projects in district Palwal, costing about Rs 98.09 crore.

The Chief Minister inaugurated four projects to the tune of about Rs 40.76 crore including GNM Training School and Nurses Hostel in Civil Hospital Palwal established at a cost of Rs nine crore, SC-ST Wing at Government Industrial Training Institute at Rs 3.50 crore, Government College for Women at Hathin at about Rs 12.72 crore, and Government Polytechnic at Mandkola built at a cost of about Rs 15.54 crore.

He also laid the foundation stones of ten projects to be completed at a cost of about Rs 57.32 crore. These included augmentation of water supply scheme, Hathin at a cost of about Rs 11.66 crore, augmentation of water supply scheme, Paingaltu at a cost of Rs 8.24 crore, construction of intermediate boosting station at village Khilluka for improvement of water supply to 12 villages at Rs 4.94 crore, 66kV sub-station at Hasapur at a cost of Rs 9.30 crore, and construction of transport depot, workshop and three additional bays in Palwal at about Rs 8.73 crore.

The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stones of new PWD rest house costing about Rs 4.62 crore, Facilitation Centre at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Stadium at Rs 3.25 crore, Pantoon Bridge to be constructed across Zehar Nallah/Yamuna river near village Gurwari at about Rs 2.48 crore, multipurpose hall at Government Industrial training Institute at about Rs 2.18 crore, and renovation of Madan Lal Dhingra Building at Rs 1.90 crore.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister was accompanied by Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Krishan Pal.
